The beach hangout officially kicked off by 4:00 PM, with guests arriving early to soak in the serene ocean views and lively atmosphere. From the very beginning, the energy was high, fueled by good music, friendly banter, and the excitement of seeing familiar faces from the Lagos crypto ecosystem in a relaxed, non-formal environment. The goal was clear: to unwind, connect, and build genuine relationships beyond charts, screens, and Telegram groups.

Throughout the evening, guests were treated to an engaging mix of games, quizzes, jokes, and interactive sessions, all designed to spark conversations and create shared moments. The informal setup made it easy for newcomers and seasoned professionals alike to mingle freely, exchange ideas, and discuss everything from market trends and blockchain adoption to personal journeys in Web3.

A standout moment of the event was a special musical performance by an 18-year-old songstress, who stunned the audience with a powerful and emotionally charged rendition of one of her original songs. Her performance added a creative and cultural dimension to the hangout, reminding attendees that the crypto movement thrives at the intersection of technology, art, and community.

Beyond the entertainment, Crypto on the Beach – 2nd Edition attracted a strong lineup of respected industry voices, influencers, and ecosystem leaders. Leading the list of notable guests was Aibo Godwin, Regional Manager for Bitget Wallet, whose presence underscored the increasing interest of global crypto platforms in Nigeria’s rapidly growing Web3 community. His interactions with attendees sparked discussions around wallet adoption, user education, and the future of decentralized finance across Africa.

Also present was Alvine Rume, popularly known as CryptoPreacher, a well-known African crypto analyst admired for his ability to simplify complex market dynamics and blockchain concepts. He engaged guests in insightful conversations around market cycles, discipline, and long-term thinking in crypto investing.

Representing Africa’s recognition and awards ecosystem was Gson Ebuka, Team Lead of the Africa Crypto Giants Awards, who emphasized the importance of celebrating African innovation, builders, and leaders shaping the continent’s Web3 future.

Other attendees included Tola Joseph Fadugbagbe, leading African crypto influencers, Nkechi Charis Enebeli (popularly known as Charis), a key community figure for UGLYCASH, as well as members of the Nigeria Blockchain Week community and several other industry experts and ecosystem stakeholders.

Food and drinks were generously served throughout the hangout, ensuring guests remained refreshed as conversations flowed deep into the evening. The blend of hospitality, music, and meaningful dialogue created an atmosphere that felt both celebratory and purposeful.

As the night drew to a close, the host, Kweenwealth, expressed heartfelt appreciation to everyone who made time to attend and contribute to the success of the event. The gathering ended on a very high note, with new connections formed, ideas exchanged, and anticipation already building for future editions.

With its second outing, Crypto on the Beach has firmly positioned itself as more than just a casual meetup—it is fast becoming a cultural hub for Lagos’ crypto community, where lifestyle meets innovation and collaboration thrives by the shore.
